Picky pooch paradise
Lucy, is a American Staffordshire Terrier, which we adopted. You would think, being a shelter dog, she wouldn't be picky! Well, she's frustratingly picky!!! She didn't even like Farmers dog! She would rather starve, than eat the, very high quality, food, we were feeding her. She absolutely hates poultry flavored food, but, likes beef. Believe it or not, it's kinda tough, to find a beef flavored dry food, that uses real beef, and is grain free. After 4 years of experimenting, we finally found, what I think, is a winner. Yeah, it's kind of expensive. And yes, the bags are small. But, I figure we were throwing out more food, than she was eating. So, as long as she keeps eating this, it's worth every penny.

Dog REFUSED to eat
I bought this food for many years for our last dog prior to And after it was sold to big corp and he ate it. But our current dog, a shelter rescue, refused to touch this and he isn't a picky eater. We mixed it with different types of meats all dogs love and he walked away every time. I hate to say it but I think change of ownership has changed quality. He's eating another quality brand without issue. I trusted Merrick before but no longer.

My Boxer loves it.
I bought this because my 2 year old Boxer has issues with gas. She has been eating it for two weeks now and her flatulence is greatly reduced. I am not sure what she is bothered by, but I am guessing it was the grain in her previous food.

pit bull wouldn't touch it
Thought I'd give this a try since it had decent reviews and because of the nutritional content. Glad I only bought the 4lb bag because my pitty wouldn't touch it! Even tried mixing it with his wet food, gravy, yogurt, cottage cheese… he wouldn't eat it in any way shape or form. I'm not saying the food is bad or there's a quality issue, only that, like some other reviewers, my guy didn't like it —at all!

Big food switch
Dawson was obviously allergic to chicken everything so we chose grain free steak flavor. Merrick was the most reasonably priced and ingredients looks good. I hope he likes it and continues to eat it. Thanks

Good stuff!
My dog has allergies. He was being feed very expensive prescription dog food. After reading the ingredients of Merrick I decided to give it a try. I have fed it for 11 months now and it has been awesome. He eats every meal something he didn't do on prescription food and best of all he has no allergic reaction to it.

Clean Bill of Health
My 10yr. old Cocker Spaniel has been on Merrick dry dog food for 3 years. She just had her wellness exam amd blood work done Clean bill of health. Couldn't ask for anything more
